Reaction of people about the the horor of buring human being alive in Ethiopia
Abay Gedey
As we approach 500 days of #TigrayGenocide, video footage has emerged of Ethiopian forces burning #Tigray|an civilians alive.
This well-documented genocide is being ignored & therefore endorsed, by the same entities who promised ‘never again’.

.@GlobalGsts fully condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the horrific killing of Tigrayan civilians, who were burned alive in the Benishangul-Gumuz Region of Ethiopia, by armed men in military uniforms and demand immediate independent and international investigation. https://t.co/LvsAeXttn2

Welcome to Ethiopia. This isn’t an isolated incident; it’s just one that was caught on camera. Those who committed the crime have a leader, and it directly ties back to the Ethiopian government.
Tigrayans need justice. #SupportHR6600

US Embassy:
The U.S. Embassy is shocked by reports that security forces burned a living person in Benishangul-Gumuz.
We urge full accountability for human rights violations and welcome the statement by the @EthioHRC calling for a full, open, and transparent investigation.

The #EHRC’s report https://t.co/4jSoxxgMny on the gruesome murder of Tigrayans in Beninshangul is a classic case of adding insult to injury. There is little in the way of moral outrage: it’s about blaming the victims & explaining away the cannibals’ crime by way of insinuations.

EHRC
The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) said on Sunday that government forces were responsible for burning a #Tigrayan man to death, a barbaric act circulated in a widely-shared video that sparked outrage on social media. https://t.co/DpYje1TqlY
