Yet another video out of Ethiopia displaying unspeakable cruelty at the hands of state funded security forces. This time, dozens of fighters, many who are armed burning a man alive, next to the charred remains of at least one other man. It hardly shocks or surprises anymore.

An Ethiopian soldier by the name of Geremew Demse, once deployed as a UN Peacekeeper to Abyei, Sudan, uploaded via his Facebook account previously unseen footage showing victims of the Mahbere Dego massacre marching to their deaths. The massacre of 12/13 Tigrayans occurred on 3 March near Aysid (on the way to GERD). It took place one day after a convoy heading to the GERD was attacked by OLA+ Gumuz forces. Amhara and SNNP security forces are seen burning the Tigrayans.

This utterly gruesome scene of beating and burning of persons alive is not an isolated incident, nor are the victims.
The killings are systemic, part of larger, premeditated, coordinated genocidal campaigns and killings to annihilate Tigrayans.

There's no confirmation yet of where or when this horrific burning alive atrocity by Ethiopian security forces and militia took place but I think it's most likely to be Metekel Zone in Benishangul-Gumuz region.
