Comments about Amhara burning Tigrawot alive March 2022
Comment # 1 : Ethiopian Security (Amharaic speaking) joyfully burn people alive
As if we have not seen enough of recordings of horrific scenes where soldiers from Eritrea,
the Abiy regime, and the Amhara region, particularly militias (aka Fanos), kill Tegarus in
cold blood, a new clip has surfaced showing yet another gruesome scene. In this latest video,
one can see a group of hateful soldiers or militias joyfully burn people alive.
The words that one hears these killers utter during this cruel act are even more disturbing;
the killers even say that eating the flesh of those we were being burned would taste better with bread.
I just have no words to express this cruelty, which is reminiscent of the Spanish Inquisition.
As is the case with the other similar acts that we have now become accustomed to,
burning the citizens of Tigray alive is the direct result of the hateful rhetoric that has been
spearheaded by Abiy and his blind followers during the past couple of years. Those who deliberately
want to hide or even deny such atrocities are also equally responsible for these odious acts.
I have in mind all the pro-Abiy TV stations and Youtubers. None of them would ever mention
such atrocities - and they do so on purpose. Instead, these haters have programs day in and
day out about atrocities committed by the TDF against the Amhara people, most of which are
either pure fabrication or extremely exaggerated. Just today, the so-called "Ethiopian Human Rights Commission"
is out with a report about such atrocities. The report is hardly trustworthy, considering the fact that the
Commission is not independent and is also selective in its "investigations." If the Commission had been
independent, then it would have investigated the crimes - such as the killings we just saw - perpetrated
against the people of Tigray - but it does not.
By the way, all these outlets and agencies in the pocket
of the Abiy regime are also never interested in investigating the same atrocities that are being perpetrated
against the Oromo people in places like Wellega, Harar, Showa, and Wello (Kemisse). We have seen gruesome
videos of people dragged from ambulances and stoned to death (Ataye); we have seen a young man shot by
a firing squad while others watch happily (Wellega), and the list goes on and on. How about the thousands
of Oromos who have been forced to flee their homes due to fear of heartless Amhara Fanos? None of such
atrocities is worthy of reporting by Abiy and his henchmen.
Watching the recent clip, I could not help but ask myself one final question: Is it ever possible to live
with people who have such hatred in their bones? I seriously doubt that. The prospect of living together
after such horrible crimes is increasingly becoming dim - and all concerned should know that by now.
